Notice Regarding the "Great Health Global Forum"

Recently, the National Public Nutrition Improvement Project Office and the China Health Industry Alliance Secretariat often received visitors and calls to understand more about timing of the "6th China Nutrition Industry International Forum." The current situation is described below: Approved by the State Council since 2003, the "China Nutrition Industry International Forum" has been successfully held five times, won praise at home and abroad, and has had a lasting impact. The Forum has become a broad international discourse platform within the fields of nutrition and health, and has been an authority for public health and the development of related industries that play a leading role in the country.

Taking into account the new era of national health policy objectives and the needs of the Party and the Country, under leadership instructions, we decided to expand the "China Nutrition Industry International Forum" to become the "Great Health Global Forum." The "Great Health Global Forum" similar to the "Boao Forum for Asia," but will focus on large core health issues, thus in essence it's the world's "Boao Health Forum." The forum will invite leading domestic and international health, economic, network, capital and data analysis. The original "6th China Nutrition Industry International Forum," will continue to be held as a sub-forum of the "Great Health Global Forum."

Due to the timing of VIP invitations and approval process requirements, the "Great Health Global Forum" is to be held in April 2016. Preparations are being made for the "Chinese Great Health Cultural Industry Development Pilot Zone" in Fengtai District of Beijing, which will serve as the main venue for the forum. Leadership from the State Council as well as international dignitaries will also be in attendance.
